It all started with a Tweet and a WhatsApp text 🙂 My dear friend Nikita tweeted and texted about ‘World Hunger Day’ on October 16th (that I was unaware of) and urged us to feed at least one hungry child. I was deeply touched by her message and prayed for a kindness opportunity to do this.
As luck would have had it, a group of four hungry people (three of whom were visually impaired) appeared in front of my centre begging for alms. Instead of giving alms, I brought fruit and biscuits for all four of them. The fruit seller saw what I did, and he also gave an extra fruit from his share as a kindness gesture! I noticed the ripple effect of kindness and felt happy.
I had vowed to feed one hungry person, but Providence gave me an opportunity to feed four of them who ate heartily!
Now, this is a Kindness Bonanza by Providence with a beautiful ripple effect.
Takeaway
One small gesture of kindness can inspire many others!
