While driving back from work, I usually cross a crippled man sitting at one corner of the road near the speed breaker asking for help in the form of food/money etc.
I always wondered how I could add value to his life, especially during the pandemic, while we all are running indoors, this unfortunate gentleman has to ventures outdoors for his survival. I thought of getting him some food or donating money to him, but today I had a thought – I could get him a mask! So I got him one, knowing that it won’t fill his hunger, but perhaps it would give him some solace from the unavoidable exposure he goes through in an attempt to survive. I am feeling delighted that I translated my thoughts to action today!
I am looking forward to contributing many more to needy daily wage workers whose priority is to just survive!
