She was poor but hardworking and full of self-respect Theirs was a small family, a school going boy and husband. The husband passed away due to renal failure, but she took it very bravely and kept working in the car park near my house. Life was not very kind to her. The boy fell in bad company, and she also fell seriously ill.
I never saw her for the next two years. During that period, I was going through an awful time myself. Last week I suddenly I met her again – she had come to buy old newspapers. As I saw her weak and fragile figure, I felt sorry for her and gave them to her. She wanted to give money, but I didn’t take anything. In fact, I gave her some money and promised to provide her newspapers free of cost so she could continue to make paper bags.
