The COVID 19 situation has affected all of in various unpleasant ways. However, worse affected are the ones who are not as privileged as many of us. My wife is a doctor who specialises in respiratory and critical care. One of my colleagues, a pulmonologist, sent us a message that, as a result of the lockdown, the Shelter Home for children at Sarita Vihar, Delhi, where there are many small kids had run out of cash and other necessary stuff. I reached out to many of my colleagues and friends and ashram devotees for help. Within a day, we were able to donate money (an amount that was more than enough to see them through for a few months) and even collect necessary items like food, medicines, tins of Lactogen, diapers and more.
This story is also a shoutout to all the heroes who were part of this Rak.
