Yesterday two of us took a friend who is not doing too well and doesn’t know what tomorrow holds for her to a beautiful church of Mother Mary. This beautiful church is about 100 kilometers away and built on a large tract of land with beautiful statues of Mother Mary. Situated on top of a hill, the church is a special place of worship. My friend has been asking us to take her there so we can pray for her healing.
We left early morning, and none of us had a chance to eat breakfast. We thought of grabbing something on the way back. As we got there, it started raining and became very cold. It became a bit difficult to walk to the place. My friend walks slowly and needs help. It took us a while to complete the prayers and reach the car.
We couldn’t find any food shops or any shop along the way, so we got into the car and were on the motorway with little hope of finding a diner. By this time, we were tired and hungry. Finally, we got to a town and found a burger shop. Starving, we sat down to eat. And I thought to myself that I don’t remember having felt this hungry ever! I haven’t ever felt this hungry because when I am hungry, I can reach out for food – which is such a blessing! And I was grateful that we were able to take a friend to the church and pray with her.
