It was around 10:30 PM when I finished workday and booked a radio cab to get back home. I was exhausted by now and couldn’t wait to get back home to have dinner as I had skipped lunch to finish an important client presentation.
The cab arrived 10 minutes later, and I was all set to start my ride when the cab driver, looking at the food stalls opposite the office gate, asked if I could wait so that he could have his dinner at one of the stalls. Without giving it a second thought, I nodded and waited while he finished his dinner. This had a positive impact on me and lifted my spirits. I had a lovely conversation with the driver during the trip, and he was happy too.
