A few days back, I was returning from my daily morning walk, accompanied by both my daughters. An old lady, whom I saw daily, was plucking flowers to take home as an offering for her deities. On that day, she had already plucked a few flowers, but she required some more which were on higher branches, and she couldn’t reach them. At first, I thought of walking past her, but then I recognised the opportunity to perform a Rak. I asked her if she required more flowers. She immediately smiled and said, “Yes.”I helped her to get as many as she needed.
The smile and satisfaction on her face made me feel satisfied too.
Bringing satisfaction to others makes us feel satisfied too.
