These days I regularly visit an organic vegetable farm to train myself in growing organic vegetables and farming techniques. There I work with the labourers times in the field. I usually wear my gardening gloves while working to protect my hands from pricks and cuts. While working with them, I saw that the labourers at the farm had severe and painful cuts and wounds on their hands.
So today, when I went to the farm, I took gardening gloves for all of them. On wearing them, they were extremely happy and thanked me with a lot of gratitude. This gave me so much happiness and contentment.
It was a small thing, but it mattered so much to them, and their smile was my reward.
Small acts of kindness can be so gratifying.
