It was not till a day before this October Navratri that I’d decided to do the Nava Durga Sadhana. The evening before 17th October, I went to the market to buy materials for my nine days sadhana.
On my way back, my hands were already full and had a little more than 200 rupees left in my pocket. It was already dark, and I passed by a bus stop near the market. I noticed a lady sitting with a worried and helpless expression with her fruits to sell. I turned back, sat down next to her and purchased oranges and apples from her. I was touched by the care with which she carefully chose the fruits for me. Leaving the remaining change with her, I made up my mind that these fruits would be part of my diet over the the next nine days.
As I finished my purchase and walked ahead, it occurred to me that the divine everywhere.
When we pause, we notice that much of what you are searching for is right in front of us.
