This episode goes back to 2016 when I fractured my ankle bone in North Carolina. I travelled back to India for my treatment as it was costly there and got operated in Hyderabad. After my surgery, I had to go for rehab, so I used to travel by cab daily to the centre. One day, I saw one of my therapists walking 20 minutes to her house from the centre, and she used to do that daily. I offered her a ride and told her that I would drop her because it’s on the way to my house. She readily agreed, and this continued only for a week because she got transferred to another centre.
In 2018, my health deteriorated as I developed brain clots and could hardly walk without shaking. Again, I had to go to a rehab centre for my walk to improve, and it was far away from my home. I used to go by cab, and it became a little costly, so I started travelling by a shared one. One of my therapists then offered me a ride home daily though it was far from her place. I am really thankful to her as she pulled me out of depression and also liked being there for me as a best friend who understood my feelings.
I believe we all should help each other in any situation, and nature will always repay us.
Takeaway
Help without expectations and you will get its fruit.
