I was getting soaked in the rain for the third consecutive day in the Bangalore’s legendary traffic…sitting on my bike, stuck at a traffic signal. There were many vehicles ahead of me and many more behind me. I heard an ambulance siren, and I figured it was behind me and the other vehicles. But no one seemed to care or even move a bit. It always bothers me when I see this. So I honked and still, no one moved. I managed to get my bike on to the pavement, went ahead and found that a single car had blocked the path for everyone. I honked to get the drivers attention and asked him to move so that the ambulance could pass. He did, and the entire traffic along with the ambulance cleared up in less than a minute. I was happy to be of some use.
Every minute counts, please make way for an ambulance.
