A few days ago, I heard something hit our gate, and since there was a loud sound, I ran towards the gate and saw a cow standing there. I called my mother, who came out to see what the commotion was. Seeing a cow, she told me to tell her to stay for a while. I laughed and said to my mother, “How will she understand our language Ma”. My mom walked in and brought something to eat for the cow.
I have observed that whenever cows come to our colony, they only seem to stop at our home. Interestingly, they come and seem to wait for my mother to come and serve them. She never lets them go without food. She rushes towards the gate with a smile to feed them. She loves to talk to them. I am not sure how much they understand, but it is good to see her look happy. Looking at this, I also wish to feel the same joy and hope that next time they come to our gate, I can serve them in the same fashion.
Takeaway
Be kind to every living being we come across.
