Our state, Chhatisgarh, was under a strict lockdown for ten days. Only essential services were allowed. Basic things like vegetables were also not available.
After the lockdown was lifted on 30th September, I went early in the morning to get vegetables. At the shop, a lady was asking the shopkeeper for some Chura (poha), and she had ₹20 only. The shopkeeper told her that he didn’t have a small pack. I overheard the conversation and asked the helper in the shop to get the big packet and give it to her. With thankfulness, the lady offered me the twenty rupees that she had.? I refused and told her to enjoy her breakfast. ?☕? I did my small part of giving it forward. ?
Another quick share: A person from Nagar Nigam came after seven days for cleaning. I handed him a small bottle of sanitizer for his use, which he took with a smile. ?
Don’t wait for your turn to give, just give. ?
