I never thought that these little babies could teach me to let go so well. For the first time, I realized what detachment and letting go are.
The little ones are the three kittens who are probably around four months old. The mother cat brought her babies and placed them in my garage when they were about a month old. She had carefully scrutinized my place. The care and attention she had received when she was pregnant was probably the reason for her decision to bring her babies here. As they are growing, the babies have become so playful. Now, they have learnt to jump over the compound wall, and they won’t stay in my garage all the time. I had gotten used to seeing them every minute of the day, but now they come only in time for lunch and dinner. Mostly they are away, playing in some other neighbour’s place.
These little ones have taught me to let go and be happy in the moment. I have also realized what is unconditional love. I am so grateful for this important and beautiful lesson I have learnt.
Letting go is not too hard, and it is very freeing.
