It was chill morning; I was waiting at the bus stand when I heard a baker nearby shouting to an elderly lady. She was over eighty, and I could hear him repeatedly ask her to be quick. It went like that for almost five minutes. Then, I went and asked the old lady what the problem was.
She replied, ” I am unable to count these coins because of my weak eyes.” I looked and saw a bunch of one rupee coins totalling to a mere 20 rupees. I asked the baker how much money the lady was to give him, and he told me it was about 55 rupees. So, without hesitation, I handed my pocket-money over to the baker who was embarrassed and discounted 5 rupees!
Kindness melts others and invokes their inner kindness too.
