Our family of four has a gym membership at a local gym. Due to COVID-19, the gym has been closed for five months. However, a month back, they have reopened. Knowing that we will not be going back to the gym in the near future, we decided to cancel our membership.
When we requested them for the cancellation of our membership, they understood our fear. They asked if we would like to keep our membership on hold, which meant paying the monthly fee at half the price. Although we will not be going back to the gym anytime in the near future, we decided to keep our membership with the sole purpose of helping the small business sustain during these uncertain times.
