Roshini is the person who helps us clean our home and the utensils. This year, her son, who is in the 10th and an okay student, could not clear two subjects in the Board exams. Roshni told me that the dejected boy did not want to pursue his studies further and had decided that he would work as a mason, like his father.
I insisted that he fill his form for the supplementary exam and then counseled him to join special tuition classes. I counseled Roshini too.
On 30th August, Roshni came smiling and told me that her son had passed his supplementary exams and that he had joined the school in the 11th class as a regular student. She said with gratitude that encouraging them helped her son gain the confidence to pass the board exam.
This great news made my day.
Kindness is helping someone feel confident about taking an exam.
