I am a chess player and love the game a lot. When I was in the 7th grade, I wanted to participate in chess tournaments but was unable to do so because I couldn’t afford to pay for the books and the coaching fees.
On Facebook, I happened to come across a relative of one of my father’s friends. He knew of my financial condition and love for chess. When he was in school, his situation was similar to mine. He too was unable to afford the fee for coaching and participating in tournaments. Now he teaches me and doesn’t charge me for it. His kindness and understanding of life have helped me to grow in my life.
I just hope to work hard and become a chess Grandmaster and honour his trust in me. I want to make him happy and prove to him that he hasn’t wasted his time on me… ?
Happiness is greater than money and if we have more than we need, we must share it.
