A stray dog used to come to our home quite often, and we would feed her rotis, biscuits and leftover food daily. She gave birth to eight cute puppies. As it was raining outside, we let her deliver her pups in our home.
Since then, her babies are with us. We are considering adopting this dog. We want to put up her puppies for adoption and shared their pictures on social media. It’s been one and a half months now; the puppies are healthy and thriving. We feed them five times a day with milk and bread. All of them are growing so quickly and have healthy appetites.
In the initial days, the mother used to stay at home to be with her pups, but now she goes outside and comes back after long intervals. When she comes back, she always gets some treat for her pups. The stuff doesn’t look very nice, so we usually throw it out. I am in a dilemma whether I should allow her to feed her puppies the way she wants to or discourage her.
If we think what we are doing is right then we must keep doing it.
