She requested for a place where she could lie down for a while. I arranged a seat for her and helped her get comfortable.
She then told me that she had just returned from the court over a family dispute and was in deep shock that her daughter testified against her. She was heartbroken.
I spontaneously started guiding her on the breath. She began to calm down, and her facial expressions changed. After a bit, she got up to leave and thanked me. She said she had been hyperventilating and felt much better and blessed me. It was such a beautiful feeling to have been able to help a stranger.
Kindness is caring for someone who may not even know you.
