I was on my early morning walk on the sidewalks of our beautifully manicured community. It was a windy and rainy morning. All of a sudden, $1 and $5 notes caught my eyes lying across the wet lawn. I walked by and then stepped back to pick them up. Then I went and placed the damp bills on the doorsteps of the houses nearby, waving at their door cameras, and continued my walk. One gentleman came in his car and stopped to ask if it was me who left money at their doorstep. He offered the money back to me, and I responded that the money was not mine to keep, but he could donate it. It made him smile. I was back on my walk happily.
Pay it forward with a smile.
