I get many calls from a service provider whose service I stopped using a few months back. It used to irritate me, anger me, puzzle even tire me telling the same thing to the operators five to almost seven times a day that I do not need their service. From requesting them not to call me, I tried all methods- shouting, blaming, criticizing.
Then one day, I told myself to be kind to any person who called me from that company. Even if s(he) has to hear three words,’ No Thank You,’ let it be filled with kindness and compassion. This helps me stay calm and not spread negativity around. And I am sure that person on the other side continues to do her work with peace.
Being kind and direct in words and tone helps in inner stability.
