Remembering an incident from my Government High School days…I was the only student in my class without any tuition teacher till Class 10, and during boards I was quietly struggling a lot to match up with others.Once, I asked my History teacher,“Ma’am, I have no tuition, so I am struggling with a few points. Would you help me learn them?” “Is it possible to teach something entirely different just because one girl in the class is not understanding it?..”No.”
“Is it my teacher’s problem that I don’t have any tuition and need extra assistance?..”No.”
So you can guess the answer:“I will explain it to you later.”Now, words like this usually cannot be taken seriously because that “later” never comes anyway.

“I have been looking for you for the past ten minutes.
Sit… sit… open the book. Bengal Renaissance, right?”School had ended almost half an hour ago, as far as I remember. At least her working hours definitely had.The guard was standing near the gate, almost preparing to close the school. Teachers were already leaving.
“I bought some extra books… I will teach you through them. Bengal Renaissance isn’t easy, but it will be okay.”She smiled…
My History teacher started explaining the topic that had been a part of confusion in my head, even when she wasn’t supposed to.
I was alone in that classroom, sitting there long after we had officially been farewelled by the school. What did she get out of that? Nothing.
What could she have lost if she had not taught me? Nothing. But I got a bright 8 marks in my board exam…Because almost after 5–6 years, the boards decided to repeat the question:
“Explain Bengal Renaissance.”
P.S-By their Grace and care I topped board in my scl✨
