I visit the local home for street children regularly. There are about 64 children there of different ages. They have painful, traumatic stories of bad family situations, which made them run away from their homes and live on the streets. They were rag pickers, beggars, or budding thieves. This home brings them in, gives them love, shelter, food, and education. I teach them English, take small gifts, and chat with them whenever I can. It brings me immense satisfaction, and I know the joy is mutual.
