I feed a couple of stray cats near my dad’s house. I get the cat food delivered to his place every month, and the excellent security guard there feeds the cats. ❤️Whenever I visit my dad, I play with these felines. Cats don’t trust easily; they are small animals and are protective of themselves and their survival. These cats trust me enough, making me feel all warm and special.💜I feel responsible for their safety and security.
One day, I visited my dad and went down to play with my two strays. To my dismay, I couldn’t find the tomcat. Panicking, I searched for him around the neighbourhood but couldn’t locate him. Desperate by now, I walked to the nearest Sai Baba temple and offered prayers for his return. I am sure it isn’t appropriate, but I bribed the divine Sai Baba ( a famous saint and spiritual master who lived in Shirdi, India, about 200 years ago) in my desperation. I had a small internal dialogue with Baba where I pleaded with him to return my tomcat to me, safe and healthy. In return, I vowed to make a painting of Sai Baba on glass and donate it to that temple.
My prayer was accepted! My tomcat was back even before I returned from the temple, waiting at my doorstep for his daily dose of food and fun!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I honoured my promise and donated the glass painting (picture attached) to the temple, where my wish was granted. 😊🙏🏼 I am so grateful! 🤞🏼🙏🏼😊❤️
