In winter of 2016, I was in need of a help, as my old caretaker was on leave. My sister-in law suggested a part time help from a girl in her 20s, who was working with her. She was in desperate need for a job. I asked her to join.
She was illiterate and quite sensitive. At home, for the the first few days she used to ask me to give her food and she would sit outside to have her meal. I had to convince her to take what ever she wanted to eat by herself and sit inside the house.
She used to cry a lot and speak very little. After taking her into confidence, I came to know that she was a Hanuman Pujari’s daughter, orphaned at the age of 12 and was left on the
streets to beg by her relatives. I prayed and decided to fully support her. Her first salary of eight thousand rupees brought tears to her eyes.
By divine grace, she met a boy, who wanted to marry her and take care of her. In September 2017, we decided to do kanyadan of Roshni and completely supported the wedding. Today, she’s happily married and continues to be with us. Her dream is to open a small hotel in the future. My mum-in-law is teaching her to read and write. I am so grateful to the Almighty ?
Keep lighting up the light of compassion in the world ?
