My Mother gives chapatis to the crow. She cuts the chapatis into pieces and keeps them out, and the crow comes to the spot, eats it every day, and then flies away.
For the first time today, I saw that my Mother kept the old chapatis out, and the crow didn’t eat them. He was nudging it. So my Mother put out pieces of hot fresh chapatis while cooking that the crow ate happily. Then after eating, he flew away.
I also noticed for the first time that when you give crows good food, they eat it happily. Such gestures feel good and heartwarming.
Fresh food appeals to all of us.
