I recently delivered my cute little girl baby. I never thought the initial days of motherhood would be so hectic, tiresome and overwhelming. Of course, looking at the baby’s face will make you forget all your pain in life. But the reality is that there are too many new things for first-time mothers who often lack knowledge about breastfeeding, responsibilities, etc. This is where mothers play a major role!! I swear to God I cannot thank my mother enough for what she has done for me during this phase. I’m settled in Bangalore, but my native place is a 4-hour drive from here. My mother came and stayed with me from the time I learned I was pregnant. She took good care of me with unconditional love. She was here to support me till my baby turned 10 months.
I agree that there were many things that she had to take care of!! She has done a great job, and I truly am blessed to have someone like her. She is always happy to take care of her granddaughter. We often take them for granted. Now she’s not here to help me, and I now know how much I miss her. She visits us often, that’s a different story!! But we fail to show gratitude to people who are always there for us! Undoubtedly mothers are great and amazing, but what about fathers?
My tears are rolling down as I write this. My dad spent his lonely time for more than a year. They have been married for more than 35 years and look at his sacrifice for me. I don’t know whom to thank more!! My father or my mother?
We think it’s their responsibility to make us happy or to take care of us, no it’s not!! They chose to do that coz that’s how much they love us 🙂
Let’s be thankful to people who make our life beautiful…
Takeaway
