I was in the market, and I saw a man begging for money in worn attire and terrible hygiene. We usually tend to keep ourselves at a safe distance from such people
Someone came forward, purchased a bottle of Bisleri and a plate of snacks from a nearby cart and gave it to the beggar. He immediately started eating and drank water as he must have been very hungry and thirsty.
It struck me that instead of giving money, it’s better to give some food and drink to the needy.
Eatables are priceless to those who need it.
