My uncle had helped a man in ragged clothes on the road near the forest many years back. He said a bear had chased him, lost his purse, and had no money to return home. My uncle gave him the money to travel back home. The man took my uncle’s address saying he would return the money via a money order.
A few days later, my uncle was pleasantly shocked to receive a money order with a note thanking him. The poor man was indeed in trouble then. My uncle is no longer with us, but he left us with many good memories. He used to share this incident with us kids and tell us to help someone (within our limits) whenever possible. This a piece of advice that we children continue to follow.

Helping someone out is an act that cannot be measured.
