Yesterday while shopping in a clothing store, I noticed a sober, sincere looking lady requesting the owner for monetary help. When I asked her about the problem, she sadly said that her daughter was unable to submit her admission forms to a correspondence course in Delhi University. Hearing this, I promised to help and, after checking her daughter’s marks sheet and other details, gave her a thousand rupees for the fees. I also gave her my mobile number for any further assistance. She was a hardworking single mother of three, who struggled with sewing orders so that her children had a roof over their head and went to school and college. Helping her gave me a lot of inner satisfaction.
