One of my patients, a lady of 94, was hesitant to walk without an attendant, even though she could. When asked, she would say that she is afraid of falling and getting hurt. To build her confidence, I donated a walking stick with quadri-pod and walked with her every morning for 10 minutes. Now she walks with the walking stick and is always beaming with confidence.
