Namaste!
Yesterday morning, I was outdoors, working out, and saw a lady doing the same. Apparently, she had just started her fitness regime because she did not seem to be fully aware of the correct way of doing the exercises and workouts. While doing squats, she lost her balance many times. As a result, she faltered and became self-conscious. A few university students who were hanging out there noticed this and laughed at her.
I empathised with her because I had experienced the same thing when I started working out a few years ago. Therefore, I approached her and had a conversation with her. I told her that she had amazing willpower and would see the results sooner than expected.
Although I did not do anything exceptional other than say a few kind words, I could see the change in her demeanour within seconds. It was obvious from her body language that she felt more confident, motivated and focused. It was not only her who felt happy and confident but also me.
Thank you, Swamiji, for everything.
Takeaway
Sometimes a little appreciation, a tiny compliment, is all we need. It is such a small gesture but brings big changes.
