You wouldn’t believe what I did today! I was just putting together some promotional stuff for Swamiji’s latest book, The Children Of Tomorrow. On an impulse, I went on to Amazon.in to see how the book is doing. Usually, a quick glance at the reviews gives one a fair idea of how well the book is received. Now while, the world out there may not know a beautiful book like this exists, but we, people, who try and follow every word that comes from Swamiji’s mighty and life-transforming pen, usually, share a review.
Imagine, my surprise, when I saw that only 5 good people had read the book and shared a review. To tell you the truth, I felt very ?. And not just because I’m one of the editors and have a vested interest in the book, it’s just that Swamiji works very hard to put these books out there. The amount of research, He does is even more baffling than the amount spent writing it. And to see all of that beautiful wisdom hadn’t found many readers, hurt. ☹️
Another reason, above all of the others, was that I wish my parents had read this book, then I’d have turned out so different, so together. All that potential stored inside would have found such great avenues. Well, I can still make a difference in the lives of the many children I know. I simply love this book.
I figured, let’s do a RAK for our kindest Swamiji. He’s also a human being after all, and would love to read a good review of His book! ? So, I wrote a review of The Children Of Tomorrow, in Amazon.in, with the photo-shotto and all. To imagine having brought about even the slightest smile on the face of my most favourite author in the world made this RAK awesome!
Thank you, Swamiji, your writing rocks!
Oh please ? write reviews when you read a good book. Appreciate others and life will reciprocate.
