I was going on a run one Sunday morning. As it was longer than my usual short runs, I was struggling a bit in the last leg. On top of it, I had to run uphill to cross a flyover. As I was panting along, a young person on a motor bike lifted his hand and showed me a thumbs up sign. His momentary random act of kindness gave me a boost to complete my run with renewed energy.
Even though it was a simple (but conscious ) act, it had a big impact on me.
Takeaway
Small acts of appreciation go a long way.
